How does ChartGame work?
You're shown a real historical stock or crypto chart. You make buy and sell decisions as the chart reveals bar by bar. At the end, your return is compared against a simple buy-and-hold strategy.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The app creates an anonymous account automatically using Firebase Authentication. No email, phone number, or personal information is required. You can choose a display name, or a random one is assigned.
Is real money involved?
No. ChartGame is a simulation for practice and education only. All trading uses virtual currency. No real money is ever at risk.
How do I reset my account?
Go to your profile in the app and use the reset account option. This will delete your Firebase account, profile photo, and follow relationships, and create a fresh anonymous account with a new user ID. Your previous leaderboard entry may remain as a historical record.
What data does ChartGame collect?
Only your display name, game performance stats, and daily challenge results are stored on our servers. No personal information is collected. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Every day, all players get the same chart to trade. Results are ranked on a daily leaderboard so you can see how your skills compare.
